Participating countries (Estonia, Turkey, Croatia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Iceland ...) have very different historical, societal and cultural backgrounds. Intercultural Communication will be more tolerant and respectful towards cultures, their traditions and creative fulfillment, discourage discrimination. Without borders Europe will get all nations to move freely, to change the residence, and work in another country. We all live alongside immigrants, we do have the ability to be residents of another country in the future. The project provides an opportunity to learn about and appreciate other cultures and minority groups, their heritage and special features and other characteristics based on different subjects, and generalizing it all.
This project will help:
- to promote cross-cultural dialogue on the issue of the stereotypes;
- to encourage students to consider how young generation in Europa is facing the problems of communication between different cultures;
- to make students and communities aware of the importance of European values.
-to raise the awareness about living in an intercultural society.
- to understand the need for tolerance and respect to other cultures
- to accept migration as a dinamic and enriching phenomena for European societies.
- to discover new cultures and to deep into knowledge of their own culture.
- to encourage students to learn foreign but also their national languages as well as to broaden their knowledge of their countries' history and culture.
- to encourage students to read and learn about their origins .
- to allow students to be creative and work on their imagination.
- to reinforce the use of Information and Comunication Technologies in both of its dimensions (communicating and getting informed).
- to promote multidisciplinary work.
-to promote diversity in its widest form, focusing on ethnicity, gender and other minority groups
-to increase tolerance towards different cultures and other minority groups.
